Hasedera

Hasedera in Sakurai-shi, Nara is the west country holy place No. 8th amulet-issuing office, and is famous also as Hanano-tera.

Hasedera calls an official name BuzanKagurainHasedera, the Domyo saint who opened in 686 of the Asuka period in which Emperor Temmu was wishes Emperor Temmu's sick recovery, and calls it west Oka -- having (the present HonHasedera) -- to have placed Douban-Hokke-sessouzu at the time and to have built the three-storied pagoda is made into the beginning. It seems that moreover, there is also an opinion it is supposed that the Tokudo saint opened as it is made also into the origin for the Tokudo saint to have deified after that the eleven-faced Goddess of Mercy bodhisattva which is the principal image to east Oka (near [ present ] Hondo) in 727. It seems that it has the history that both carried out by becoming together and being set to the present Hasedera unawares after that. Moreover, a Tokudo saint is famous also as the founder of a pilgrimage of the 33 west country Kannon circuit and Kannon faith. Hasedera supposed that faith very broad as a Kannon circuit from ancient times more has been collected under the influence,It seems that it has the history which changed around from 1588 of the Age of Civil Wars to the Shingon sect through changes of becoming an end temple in Todaiji of the Kegon sect after that, or becoming an end temple in Kofuku-ji (a Domyo saint is the appearance here) of the Hosso Sect of Buddhism. It is famous also as a leading Kannon circuit as a Shingon sect Buzan group's head temple now. The origin of the name of Hasedera is coming from the place where this land was called Toyohatuse and Hatuse more from ancient times. It seems that moreover, the mountain itself in which Hasedera is built now is called the Hatuse mountain. Like the beauty of the name, the name is driven here also as Hanano-tera where flowers, such as autumnal leaves, fresh green and a cherry tree, and a peony, bloom again. If it is called Hasedera even especially in inside, like a peony, the flower of about 150-sort the peony said 7000 shares blooms all over to here and there [ of the precincts of a temple ], and the situation has a thing very much. Many peonies can be seen also by Honbo in the place which the right hand of an ascent passage of resulting from the Deva gate of a precincts-of-a-temple entrance to Hondo has a flower of very many peonies if it says with the flower of a peony, and has gone down from a five-storied pagoda. We send beautiful fresh green scenery the flower of the peony of such Hasedera to you this time.
