The Miboro lake of along the national highway No. 156 line and winter The Miboro lake is a lake which appeared when Miboro Dam which dammed up Shogawa in Showa 35 (1960) and was built in Shirakawa-mura was made. Miboro Dam has a 131-m-high bank, and is completed as first large-scale rock-fill dam in Japan. As a rock-fill dam, the pondage of 330 million cubic meters is proud of No.1 of Japan even now. By construction of this dam, a part of central part in once Shokawa-mura has merely sunk. |
