Tokai Hokurikudou has the highest altitude point of a highway of Japan. The Hirugano plateau PA is left, ascent is started and before the Shokawa interchange has a peak called a Matunoki peak, Although the bridge is built on the top of the peak, a signboard is there, and it is indicated as the highest altitude point. Incidentally the highest altitude is no less than 1085m. |
